SPECIFIC PACKS

The thematic modules consist of systematized and oriented information packs, allowing a direct access to specific contents. The modules present both a theoretic and an experiential side, permitting a contextualization and recognition of the specific aspects of the Portuguese culture, as well as the direct contact with the venues, agents and supply of the market in the respective areas. Their duration and composition vary according to the thematic.

1. The Modern and Contemporary Art Tour 1
From the avant-gard experiences of early 20th century art to the great challenges of post-post modernism this module offers a set of 10 classes + a visit tour to the main Galleries and Agencies of Contemporary Art in Portugal.

2. The Modern and Contemporary Art Tour 2

Visit Tour to the Art Galleries, the Museums and the Foundations for Modern and Contemporary Art.

3. The Design and Fashion Tour

This module offers 2 classes of introduction to the main guidelines of contemporary Design in articulation with a 2 days guided tour to the Galleries of Jewellery and to the Design Museums, the main fashion studios and shops in Lisbon and Oporto.

4. The Great Private Collections

Portugal possesses some of the most notable collections of private art in Europe. We propose an incursion to the great thematic lines of the most important Portuguese private collections – travelling in space and time, from ancient Egypt to our days, in history and culture, taking into consideration the specificity of their constitution and contextualization. Modules of 5 lessons (approx. 2 hours each) articulated with two visits chosen by the client.

6. The Monasteries and the Churches

The sacred architecture centralizes some of the most beautiful examples of national art in the territory. It is, simultaneously, an index of its time, and depository of notable altar-pieces, carved wood and mural painting. Modules of 5 lessons (approx. 2 hours each) articulated with two visits chosen by the client.

8. Public Spaces and the social life along the times. The gardens, the squares, the cafés, the theatres and the Opera.

What do know of the places where we live, where we socialize?
They are the scene and mirror of history, places of decision, of confluence, milestones and evidence of ideologies, social practices and world views. From Garden to Square, we propose a historic trip to the architectonic and urbanistically most emblematic venues in Portugal. Module of 3 lessons (approx. 2 hours each) articulated with two visits chosen by the client.

9. The Great Artists of Yesterday and of Today
Sculptors, painters and architects, urbanists and video-artists, performers and photographers … Who were they and who are the men and women that in Portugal represent the Visual Arts?
Module of 4 lessons (approx. 2 hours each) complemented with a visit to a Studio/art gallery in Lisbon or Oporto.
